Spring

Well, spring has arrived in Melbourne....I have 2 little wrens visiting in my garden at present....they allow you to get really close, but they are way too fast to get a photo....so you need just to imagine them fossicking around the ground for bugs and the like. Then there are the honey-eaters....I have a mainly Australian Native garden with lots of Grevilleas, Banksias, Correas and wattles....it is a smorgasbord for the native birds around Mt Evelyn and I just love it.

I also have this fella visiting on occasion throughout the Spring and Summer months.... when I took this photo, he was sunning himself just outside my back door...I am sure he found some tasty morsels of food!!!

I have also completed a couple of projects over the past weekend...

the first is the completed couch companion
for the Stitcher's Angel Swap...

and this bag...like I need another Bag!!!

and last, but by no means least.... Happy Father's Day to my Dad (pictured here with his Grandson, Thomas)

I love the shots of the garden and the visitor.
The bag is great, and you can't have too many, you should know that by now.

Love and hugs Gina xx

I love your garden. My hometown is considerd to be in the desert zone, but this summer we were lucky and had some rain, so right now it looks really green. But Fall is just arround the corner, which is one of my favorite season.
I like your visitor, we had some visitor this summer, too, not quite as excotic as yours, just a racoon and unfortunatly a rattle snake.
The bag is really cute so.. and I never met somebody who had engough bags

hugs from your stitchers Angel
