Introducing.....

I thought I would introduce a few members of my family.....it was my Dad's Birthday last week and I took this photo of Dad, my Brother Craig and niece and nephew Kate and Thomas....

This past weekend Kate visited me for the day and we had a lovely time....here she is munching on one of the Anzac biscuits we made together....sorry about the open mouth....this was the best of the photos.....

I have also completed a few more little projects which are gifts for..........well, I am sorry, I will just have to keep you guessing.... these little numbers are a surprise for a couple of girls......I made them from Rosalie Quinlan's book I showed here a few posts ago.

and this is for someone else.....there is also something in it, but if I showed you, it would probably give too much away....and I am wanting this to be a surprise

and finally......

another 2 little gifts for the Stitchers' Angel Swap.....a little needlecase and name tag.....hmmmm I wonder whose name it is?

All will be revealed in a few weeks!!!!

Until next time....blessings....

Stitchers Angel Swap Project Update

Just thought I would give an update on how my projects for the "Stitcher's Angel" Swap are progressing.....I have finished this carry bag below....it is a major favourite pattern of mine...I have made several of these in the past and everyone I know who has one finds it THE BEST!!!

These are back and front views.....

I have also had lots of fun making the project from Lynette Anderson..thanks Lynette!!!

And here is a photo of the 3 projects I have completed so far....I am really pleased at how well they are all matching....so much so that it will be hard to give them away!!!
Now to look forward to the next instalment due tomorrow....

Spring

Well, spring has arrived in Melbourne....I have 2 little wrens visiting in my garden at present....they allow you to get really close, but they are way too fast to get a photo....so you need just to imagine them fossicking around the ground for bugs and the like. Then there are the honey-eaters....I have a mainly Australian Native garden with lots of Grevilleas, Banksias, Correas and wattles....it is a smorgasbord for the native birds around Mt Evelyn and I just love it.

I also have this fella visiting on occasion throughout the Spring and Summer months.... when I took this photo, he was sunning himself just outside my back door...I am sure he found some tasty morsels of food!!!

I have also completed a couple of projects over the past weekend...

the first is the completed couch companion
for the Stitcher's Angel Swap...

and this bag...like I need another Bag!!!

and last, but by no means least.... Happy Father's Day to my Dad (pictured here with his Grandson, Thomas)

Angel Winners.....

Hi to those fellow bloggers kind enough to make comments on my last 2 posts...Given that I really wasn't inundated with hundreds of messages, I would love to send Angels to all those who did...and even those who are my secret angels...I'll send yours after the big reveal!!!... (they know who they are!!!). To all those too shy, perhaps next time...I would love to hear from you!!!
So if the following could kindly let me know their snail mail addresses, I will send an Angel Babuschka on its way to each of you by the end of the week...

Kookaburra, Mette, Karen C, Vero, Moodies Fan and Lynette Anderson...hopefully you can email me directly now that I have had a play....and have hopefully set up my blog to receive my messages!!

On another fun note, I have started the first of the squishies for my partner in the Stitcher's Angel Swap and here is a little sneak peek.....the fabric I am using is from Heather Bailey's "Freshcut" range...simply gorgeous.

As well as this, over the weekend I also finished decorating the cover of a journal I have had for a few years...now to decide what to write in it!!! Any suggestions gratefully accepted.

Hope you all have a blessed week.
