Show and Tell

Thought I'd show you photos of a few projects which I have completed in the past few days.
A colleague from work is a volunteer with an organisation which provides support to the partners of men who are in prison. She asked me some time back if I would make a banner for them to display at their get togethers....here it is...

Another colleague from work's sister and her family had their home and all of their posessions destroyed in the recent bushfires and it was really on my heart to make their 3 children quilts...so here are the completed quilts....they are basically all the same design, but I used slightly different fabrics in the one for the little girl, and just added different coloured borders.

I am now looking forward to taking them into work this week for her to give to her niece and nephews'....

WOW!!!! Your projects are all sooo beautiful! I am so encouraged by your selflessness in the projects you choose to put your time into! Thanks so much for sharing them! Those children are going to love those quilts for years, and imagine the legacy of God's provision that they will hold for the generations to come. I bet the stories of the fires of 2009 will be told to many a child through those quilts, and the very special woman who made, and gave the quilts to three very fortunate children!
